Yesterday was Valentine's Day or as most single people refer to it as Single's Awareness Day. Now typically you hear of all these cute couples going out to a nice fancy dinner, getting flowers from their significant other, getting engaged, or anything that a typical couple would do on Valentine's day. It is a day that a lot of women expect something from whatever man they are with and a day that a lot of men are seen going into flower shops and other places to buy gifts in hope that they charm their lovely lady. However, I do not believe that anyone would ever expect to be receiving an organ from their ever so loving husband on Valentine's Day like this lady did. She has been suffering from Crohn's disease for awhile now and her husband decided that on Valentine's day he would undergo a procedure to give her his kidney so that she would not ever have to undergo the painful dialysis treatments that most other patients face. The couple has had such a lovely story from the start, but the man has done such a wonderful thing for his wife. We need to be reading about more of these stories in the news than the stories that involve criminal activity. This has to be one of the most touching and loving stories that I have ever read about in my life. What love he has for her.

Thank you for sharing! It is great to see some heart felt and loving articles come out of the news! All too often we are bombarded by the negative articles that are always reported on.
